Adoption Chats Sans Abri (ACSA) is a non-profit organization located in Limoilou since 1996. Our primary mission is to welcome, care for, socialize and adopt stray cats.
Cats we take in are medically examined, sterilized, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. Adult cats are also tested for FIV (feline AIDS) and feline leukemia.

Ethical shelter

We pride ourselves on being an ethical shelter, with no euthanasia (except out of compassion). Our cats all enjoy moments of freedom in the shelter. They stay with us until we find THE right family.

Café Paleta

Café Paleta is a unique project combining specialty coffee and a luncheonette in the Maizerets district. We’re a colourful, environmentally conscious café that offers people access to tasty, home-cooked meals, designed to minimize their impact on the environment by featuring local, seasonal foods as much as possible. Among the actions we take to minimize our environmental impact, we offer coffee sourced in total transparency, our food waste is 100% composted and our food offering is entirely plant-based. You can work or study on site, have a quick coffee in the morning or come for lunch in our colourful, friendly setting. Our products are also available for takeaway and boxed lunches.

Inspired by our mission to transform organic waste destined for landfill into meaningful objects, our Ōmbra circular lamps are based on a simple observation: it’s possible to do better with less! Made from our 100% bio-sourced, compostable biomaterials, we use co-products such as brewers’ brew, coffee grounds or chaff to create designer, sustainable lights that combine aesthetics, innovation and ecological responsibility.

Érablexquis

The company name is Délices Érabeille Inc. and we have been in operation for 25 years. Our products have always been gluten-free, but 5 years ago, we decided to go vegan with our dressings/sauces under the brand name Érablexquis. The products have a little maple syrup (the aim being to lessen the impact of the vinegar’s acidity and caramelize during cooking), with a minimum shelf life of 2 years, gluten-free and Vegan. At the event, dressings/sauces will be available for $10.00 each, 3 units for $25.00 and 4 units for $33.00.

Forêt Boréale specializes in gathering non-timber forest products from public forests: Labrador tea, wintergreen, balsam myrtle, traveler’s comptonia, dune pepper, balsam fir seedlings, chanterelles, morels and other forest mushrooms. Forêt Boréale aims to make the herbal teas, spices and wild mushrooms found in Quebec’s boreal forests accessible to all. From the picker to the larder to the restaurateur, Forêt Boréale ensures quality by harvesting, processing and distributing these products. The company is committed to the philosophy of sustainable harvesting. It has been picking from the same forest plots for the past 15 years, ensuring rest periods to allow full regeneration of the plants it picks.

INHA Professional

The INHA brand embodies a philosophy of caring. All our products are vegan and 100% made in Quebec. We ensure that our line is palm oil-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, sulfate-free, gluten-free and not tested on animals. Finally, INHA is proud to support the Canadian Cancer Society.

Les petits pots de Lulu

Lulu Turgeon hand-picks, processes and sells wild berries and edible plants.

It’s a passion she’s nurtured since childhood. Originally from Témiscamingue she used to accompany her mother to pick wild strawberries, and has never forgotten the wonderful smell of jam wafting through the house. Lulu has developed several varieties of jelly that reveal different flavors and bring out savory and floral notes.

Based in Quebec City, she roams the forest and fields in search of little-known or forgotten berries and concocts jellies with quatre-temps, cenelle, pimbina, barberry, chicory, lingonberry and crowberry, as well as plants such as wild rose petals wild rose petals, larch blossom, elderflower, fir and Labrador tea, etc. They can be enjoyed without moderation morning, noon, as an aperitif or with dessert.
